Sometimes I have months when I really don't feel like I want to make or paint or do anything. I hope this is over soon, I really feel the need to create something, I just hope my energy to go through with it will follow.

Seriously! I see people uploading pictures of their arms and legs and wherever they hurt themselves with descriptions like "I need to do this to feel better!" or "This is the ONLY way I can deal with my emotions!"
That is just plain wrong. If self harming is the ONLY way you can manage, then you haven't tried very much to get away from it. I have been in therapy for several years and I am completely away from self-harming. I would have never shown the whole world my wounds and glorified them in the first place.... but yeah I got away from it.
Also what these people like to write is "I'm not an attention seeker". YES you ARE! If you weren't
